i saw this picture, taken by a friend, and i thought, "that would be really cool as an album cover" (a common theme for this group of albums)
so when i decided that i would sit down and spend three days working on the bones of three albums, naturally this picture was in the queue.
i used a lot of instruments that i had been neglecting as of late. the musical trinkets i have collected that are not main stays in my arsenal, but surely shouldn't be counted out. i wanted this album to feel alive, so a lot of it is improvised (and then cleaned up). all in all i had a lot of fun with it.
