about

this is my audio journey through the year of 2018.

it has been such an amazing journey.

here are the album descriptions from the EP releases

January:
This is the first (of hopefully twelve) EPs from my tracks i've submitted to Weekly Beats in the year 2018.

February:
against all odds! i made it through Feb with four more tracks! had a wonderful time exploring some of the world i had never seen. made some sweet tunes during the excursion. a little less rock and roll. a little more jazz. a touch of a certain top down shooter game. it was a good month for me. first real vacation in about 12 years. found out a little more about myself. going to use that to my advantage for the next 10 months.

March:
this was an interesting month. lot's of personal things affecting my flow of creativity. job change (my music day (tuesday) got filled with work so i only have proper focusing time on the weekends now), living situation drama (got a new cat and then had some drama with the old cat (plus roommate stuff)), motivational issues (hot damn it's difficult to push yourself sometimes, ya know?). i was still able to take a look into my life and pull out some music. i also have plans for next month and things will hopefully be on the upswing.

the takeaway is that i made it through this month and the future looks so bright

April:
April's weekly beats submissions.
one extra track in here (at least from the WB site) since i missed the deadline like a stooge.

May:
(no description)

June:
June was a wild month. lot's of drama. not as much music tbh, but oh well. shit happens man. made it half the year at least.

July:
july july july. i moved this month. it was interesting. things are settling down again, which is nice. all and all. p good month.

August:
august came and went. i sweat so much during this month, it was very awful. i am excited for fall to hit. i went to oregon/washington and it was pretty rad.

September:
do you remember? any day from this month?
did it happen?
have i even been here for any moment of it?
no one can be certain.
find them.
find no one.

October:
october. let's see.
checking in here...um. good month? i suppose so. had some fun spooky tracks so that was cool.

November:
(no description)

December:
wowwie wow wooooowwwww.
what a month. lots of stuff went down this month.
i turned a billion. made some cool tunes.
had a lot of fun a long the way.
ended my year surrounded by people i love and cherish.
thanks for an awesome year.

big shout out to Elena for pushing me and making sure that i never gave up (as well as helping with names and inspirations along the whole year).

big thanks to Zain Husain for coming up with a story and recording it in my coat closet the day i needed to submit my final song.

thanks to Josh for being patient as a stone while i decided to delay his album for however long i ended up doing weekly beats (which was all year duh). i promise i am getting right on your album now. no distractions.
